Lagrange "Granger" JV Tournament (11-27-2013)

On November 27th five St.Anne+Pacelli Wrestlers competed in the Lagrange "Granger" JV Tournament.

Our only placer this go around was 106lb Collin Mulvany. Collin won 2 matches and lost 2 but both losses were matches he could have won and will win the next time around. At 106lbs Collin is the teams lead off varsity wrestler.

At 138lbs Tanner Hall won 1 and lost 2 but fought hard and gets better every time he steps on the mat.

Also at 138lbs first year wrestler Simon Brunk lost both his matches but showed great promise. He will only get better as he learns to wrestle.

At 170lbs Kristian Andrade lost both his matches but as a freshmen in a heavy weight class he did just fine and will also get better as he gets more matches under his belt.

The surprise of the day was first year wrestler, Senior Khalil Jenkins at 182lbs. Khalil won 1 and lost 2 but won his very first match after only 2 days of wrestling practice in his life. Not many people would dare enter a competition with only 2 days of practice none the less win a match. He is a great athlete and is one tough young man. He will be fun to watch as he learns how to wrestle.
